Local Team Collaboration

• We are growing our strong and collaborative emergency medicine team size to 2.5 EM advanced practice providers (APPs) and 6 EM physicians at Oak Valley Hospital.
• Our model consists of 10 hours per day of APP coverage and 24 hours per day of physician coverage.
  
  

Qualifications

• Board-certified/Board-eligible Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification.
• Additional certifications required: PALS, BLS, ACLS
  
  

Practice in the Heart of the Community

Scheduling

• APPs work 10-hour shifts.
• Full-time is 120 hours per month; part-time options available.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• An acute care hospital with a 12-bed ED (all private rooms) and four fast-track beds.
• Annual volume of 20,579 with a 4% admission rate.
• Average of 2.1 patients per hour.
• The hospital includes 5 ICUs and 30 med/surg beds.
• Level 4 Trauma goal in 2025/2026.
• Radiology, including CT/Ultrasound and MRI, is available during daytime hours.
• Specialty services include Anesthesiology, Interventional Radiology, Cardiology, General Surgery, Mobile Crisis Psych, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, and Wound Care.
