Help Build a Growing Behavioral Health Practice
Sound Mind Behavioral Health Services is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and motivated licensed mental health professional to provide accessible, high-quality care to individuals and families while helping establish and grow our developing practice. Services may be provided in person, through secure telehealth, or through a combination of both, based on client needs, clinical appropriateness, and licensure requirements.
Responsibilities
● Provide individual, family, and group counseling in person and through secure telehealth.
● Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
● Deliver ethical, clinically appropriate telehealth services in compliance with Louisiana law, professional standards, payer requirements, and organizational policies.
● Verify client identity, location, privacy, consent, and emergency contact information at the start of telehealth sessions.
● Help develop clinical policies, procedures, telehealth workflows, and safety protocols.
● Support insurance credentialing and provider enrollment.
● Collaborate with leadership on clinical operations and practice development.
● Establish efficient clinical workflows and quality standards.
● Provide clinical leadership and supervision when appropriately qualified.
Qualifications
Required:
● Active, unrestricted Louisiana license as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or psychologist.
● Knowledge of clinical documentation and ethical standards.
● Excellent communication and organizational skills.
● Ability to provide secure, professional, and clinically appropriate telehealth services.
● Reliable access to a private setting, secure internet, and appropriate telehealth technology.
Preferred:
● Experience in outpatient behavioral health or private practice.
● Telehealth counseling experience.
● Knowledge of insurance credentialing and billing, including telehealth services.
● Clinical leadership or supervisory experience.
● Experience launching or managing a behavioral health practice.
Compensation
$40.00–$50.00 per hour, based on experience and responsibilities.
● $40–$45 per hour: Independently licensed therapists primarily providing counseling services.
● $45–$50 per hour: Experienced therapists who can support credentialing, clinical procedures, telehealth workflows, and practice development.
● Up to $50 per hour: Professionals with strong clinical leadership experience who can help establish the practice.
Compensation includes approved clinical, telehealth, and assigned administrative work at the agreed-upon hourly rate.
