We're a Mobile DJ company looking to add reliable, technically-minded people to our team for the busy wedding season.
If you're someone who loves working with equipment, is great at following directions, and takes pride in doing things the right way, this could be the perfect part-time job for you.
WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS A TOP PRIORITY. Our events primarily take place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, so you must have consistent weekend availability. Weekday availability is a plus too!
As a Tech Crew member, you'll help bring our events to life by setting up and striking DJ equipment, running Photo Booths and other event enhancements, troubleshooting equipment, and making sure everything is ready to go for our clients.
You don't need experience in the event industry: we can teach you our systems and procedures. We're looking for people who are dependable, technically confident, willing to learn, and committed to serving others.
What We're Looking For:
- Consistent weekend availability (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays).
- Extreme attention to detail: You take pride in clean setups, hidden cables, and making equipment look like a premium architectural installation.
- Hospitality-minded: You are comfortable dressing professionally, smiling, and interacting with guests at high-end luxury events.
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds and physically handle professional audio/visual equipment.
- Strong technical intuition and the ability to calmly troubleshoot under pressure.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (you may be driving company cargo vans to out-of-town destination events).
What You'll Do:
- Load, transport, and execute the physical setup and strike of premium DJ, audio, and lighting equipment.
- Act as the face of the company while operating our Photo Booths, ensuring guests have an incredibly fun, high-energy experience.
- Assist the Lead DJ during the event by managing lighting scenes, running ceremony sound, or handling standalone enhancements (Cold Sparks, uplighting, etc.).
- Follow our exact, proven setup procedures so every event meets our strict visual and audio standards.
Have weekday availability too? The perfect candidate may also have the opportunity to work as a Warehouse Assistant during the week, helping prep, organize, and maintain gear for upcoming events.
