Graphic Designer - Vehicle & Print Media

Title: Graphic Designer – Vehicle and Print Media

You would be responsible for assisting our exploding vehicle wraps and graphics division with design work, and overall printing shop requirements.

Experience in an automotive field is a big plus since we are designing so many commercial wraps and knowing your way around a vehicle will assist in your graphic design.

Large format printers, plotters, and laminating experience isn't required but is a plus if you have it. We like to take on new individuals and allow them to grow within the company and learn.

Qualifications

• Strong sense of layout, typography, graphic trends, artwork, and branding.
• Great attitude with an emphasis on positivity and teamwork. Enjoys collaborating with others and embraces/grows from constructive feedback.
• Design with a focus on customer's visions and brands
• Able to design with illustration and artwork - creating original artwork and hand lettering
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills - communicates needs and important information to management and keeps strong, positive, and professional relationships with both team members and customers
• Knowledge of responsive design, file handling/naming, slicing
• Excellent organizational, time management and detail-oriented skills with an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, is a problem solver and solutions person
• Proficient in Adobe Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Experience in Flexi a major plus
• Understands the Sound FX brand as a whole as well as our customers and applicable trends

Education

• Associates Degree or higher is a plus

Job Duties

• Draft mockups of vehicle graphics, signage, iconography, and any other marketing materials required
• Revise the work of previous designers to help realize the customer's vision
• Work on multiple projects at once, and consistently meet deadlines
• Stay current and inspired by fresh trends within the world of graphic design, web, and art
• Other duties as requested
