What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chiropractic Rehab Assistant (CA) position at Sound Family and Sports Chiropractic?
Job functions during patient office hours
Primary Duties
Assist doctor with tasks to support rehabilitation therapy:
- Oversee the rehab room, assisting the doctor with spinal traction set ups and monitoring patient exercises
- Provide patient education on home care as directed by doctor
- Assist in transcription of doctor’s notes, filing therapy documents as needed in office
- Manage computer files
Maintain supplies, safe and clean treatment areas:
- Manage regular cleaning of rehab equipment
- Inspect rehab treatment room for broken equipment and other safety concerns
Secondary Duties
Provide backup for scheduling and telephone reception:
- Assist reception personnel with answering phones, check voicemail, and check email/text communications. This will include managing patient schedules, as well as screening calls and emails for the doctor
- Assist in supervision of the office dog and take him out on breaks as needed
Job functions during non-patient office hours
- Maintain clean and sanitized office and treatment rooms. Perform weekly deep cleaning tasks
- Assist in transcription of doctor’s notes, filing therapy documents as needed in office
- Assist in other administrative tasks as needed

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
