We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Planner to own material and production planning across two distinct manufacturing environments: Sound Devices (build-to-stock) and JH Audio (predominantly build-to-order). This is a high-ownership, forward-looking role for a self-directed professional who thrives on translating supply chain complexity into actionable plans—and who can anticipate disruptions before they become problems.

Key Responsibilities
Production & Demand Planning
- Own finished goods and stock-subassembly planning across both Sound Devices and JH Audio facilities.
- Maintain and proactively refine the rolling 3-month build plan, adjusting dynamically in response to actual vs. forecasted sales performance, unplanned material shortages, and revised supplier lead times.
- Assess and communicate capacity to fulfill unplanned or expedited sales orders—providing clear timelines and escalating constraints when appropriate.
- Maintain the monthly manufacturing forecast, identifying trend deviations early and recommending corrective actions.
- Own Master BOM and Job BOM integrity—executing updates in support of ECNs and ensuring planning accuracy at all times.
- Maintain and continuously optimize planning parameters: safety stock levels, order minimums, and component lead times for finished goods and stock-subassemblies.
- Drive AP leanness month-over-month by proactively identifying and resolving excess or at-risk inventory positions
- Serve as the primary lead for the company-wide ERP system migration—coordinating cross-functional readiness, data integrity, and planning continuity throughout the transition.
- Partner with the Engineering Project Manager to ensure structured, well-documented hand-offs of new products into production planning.
- Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Purchasing to proactively resolve supply chain disruptions and escalate risks with recommended solutions.
- Perform weekly inventory adjustment reconciliation and maintain audit-ready records.
- Execute ECN-related planning duties as required.
- Maintain flexibility with office hours to accommodate cross-site coordination and time-sensitive planning needs.
- Support additional operational initiatives as the business evolves.
Required
- 5 years of experience in material planning, production planning, inventory management, or a closely related role.
- Demonstrated mastery of MRP principles and practical application in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills—able to present complex planning scenarios to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/MRP platforms.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
- CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or equivalent professional certification.
- Working knowledge of MySQL or similar tools for report writing and data queries.
- Experience with Epicor ERP is a strong advantage, given our active system transition.
- Familiarity with both build-to-stock and build-to-order environments
