This is an entry level position in which the candidate will assist and collaborate with Line Service Technicians, support arriving and departing aircraft, flight crews and passengers. Line Service Support is a customer service and safety concerned position, necessitating strong interpersonal and communication skills. This position will interact with a variety of customers, and professional discretion is of the utmost importance. Successful members of the Line Support department will prioritize ramp safety while maintaining an efficient and accommodating workflow for our customers and line service staff.

Duties:
- Work under the supervision of the Line Support Lead and collaborate with the Line Service Technicians to ensure a safe ramp environment
- Greet passengers at the curb or planeside for arrival/departure assisting passengers with luggage going to and from aircraft
- Marshalling of aircraft as they taxi into parking position
- Escorting passengers to and from aircraft with concern for safety
- Delivering catering to aircraft as directed
- Communicate arrival of passengers to the Ramp Coordinator via radio
- Provide basic security to passengers, flight crews and their respective property
Requirements:
- Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing (including legal substances such as marijuana), and submit to random testing when required
- Pass pre-employment background check
- Complete job-related training - NATA Safety 1st
- Utilize company-provided Personal Protective Equipment for safety compliance
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Follow verbal and written direction; complete assigned duties on a recurring schedule; complete tasks accurately and quickly
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including overtime when required
- A minimum of one weekend day will be required in the candidate's schedule due to the frequency of operations on those days
- Must be comfortable working outdoors, day, night and in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- High school or equivalent (preferred)
Physical requirements:
- Lift passenger luggage from ground level to waist and overhead while loading aircraft (up to 50lbs)
- Safely crouch below wings to chock aircraft
- Place cones around four points of a plane (up to 12 lbs per)
- Good hand-eye coordination

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
