Responsibilities
- Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues and performing repairs on various types of vehicles.
- Utilize tools and equipment, including an Ohmmeter, to conduct tests and measurements on electrical systems.
- Support senior mechanics in routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working with tools and machinery.
- Document repairs and services performed on vehicles accurately.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge of automotive systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic understanding of automotive systems is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with tools used in automotive repair, particularly an Ohmmeter, is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with vehicle maintenance.
