Clinical Specialist – 1099 Independent Contractor

About the Role
Soule Medical is seeking experienced OR clinicians to join our team as 1099 Clinical Specialists supporting surgical product evaluations, inservices and case coverage across hospitals and surgery centers nationwide. This is a flexible, field-based contract role — ideal for Surgical Technologists or OR RNs looking to leverage their clinical expertise outside the traditional hospital setting.
What You'll Do
- Travel to hospitals and surgery centers to provide hands-on case support and clinical education for Soule Medical's surgical positioning products
- Support product evaluations and conversions in the OR, ensuring proper technique and documentation
- Serve as the on-site clinical resource for surgical teams during procedures
- Complete post-case summaries and product evaluation reports
Requirements
- Active OR experience required — Surgical Technologist or OR RN background strongly preferred
- Robotics case experience preferred
- Comfortable in fast-paced OR environments with varying surgical teams
- Ability to travel regionally/nationally with flexible scheduling — up to 70–85% travel, expenses paid meals
- Strong communication and professionalism in clinical settings
- Independent, self-managed work style suited for 1099 contracting
Compensation
- Day rate (competitive, commensurate with experience)
- 1099 independent contractor arrangement
