Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with guests to recommend drinks, answer questions about menu items, and provide outstanding customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling responsibly
- Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting
- Manage bar inventory by tracking stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender.
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and beverage recipe development
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service
- Previous experience in food handling, food safety standards, and responsible alcohol service practices
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle challenging situations professionally
- Experience working with diverse beverage menus including cocktails, wine pairings, and specialty drinks
