Position Overview
Soulberry Natural Market is seeking a skilled, efficient and organized cook . This role will be responsible for daily food production across our prepared foods, deli, bakery, and grab-and-go departments while maintaining the highest standards for quality, cleanliness, efficiency, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
-Follow direction of the Chef and kitchen manager. Complete prep list and assigned tasks in a timely fashion
- Ensure all recipes are followed precisely and products meet Soulberry’s quality standards
- Maintain organized prep schedules and production timelines- Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation
-Breakdown and clean up of the kitchen, dishes and closing duties
Food Safety & Sanitation
- Ensure compliance with all health department regulations
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe kitchen workspaces
- Enforce proper food handling, temperature control, and sanitation procedures
Qualifications
- 3 years kitchen experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Passion for high-quality, natural, and thoughtfully prepared food
Schedule
-Monday - Friday 7:30 to 3:30
