Job Summary
This is Per Time position for every other weekend.
We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care and daily living support in their homes. This vital role involves fostering a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for residents or clients, promoting their independence and well-being. The ideal candidate will be proactive, attentive to detail, and passionate about enhancing the quality of life for those they serve. Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Assist clients. with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), including shopping, transportation, and meal prep
- Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, noting changes in condition, and reporting concerns promptly
- Support medication administration in accordance with care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing light cleaning duties to promote hygiene and comfort
- Document care activities accurately in compliance with care plans and regulatory standards like HIPAA
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home health environments preferred
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer’s), memory care, and hospice care practices
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others through direct support and personalized care
