Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily coffee shop operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts
- Train, develop, and motivate staff in food preparation, customer service, and safety protocols
- Manage inventory control including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste
- Oversee cash handling procedures and operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS with accuracy
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
- Coordinate shift schedules, manage staffing levels, and handle employee performance evaluations
- Assist in food preparation and cooking to uphold quality standards for beverages and light menu items
- Implement training programs to enhance team skills in food handling, customer service, and hospitality management
- Monitor financial performance through budgeting, sales tracking, and cost control measures
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Skills
- Proven experience in food service management within quick service or fast food restaurant environments
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Excellent leadership skills with a background in supervising teams and managing staff training & development
- Expertise in inventory control, food safety practices, and kitchen management
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform cash handling duties confidently
- Experience with culinary preparation including coffee brewing, barista skills, and light food production
- Familiarity with restaurant operations including shift management, budgeting, and customer service excellence
- Strong communication skills to effectively interview candidates and provide ongoing staff coaching
- Hospitality management experience in casual dining or hotel settings is a plus
- Knowledge of food industry standards related to catering, banquet services, or bar operations is advantageous
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
