Do you love to cook and play with children? Join us at Soul Blossom CCC nestled in beautiful, Sisters, Oregon. The school is located in Sister’s previous elementary school. Staff and children have access to over 5 acres of outdoor space, a greenhouse, and raised beds. We are partnered with Seed to Table, a local organic farm located 4 blocks away for our elementary afterschool program and Family Farming lessons.

Employees will support groups receiving care individually and jointly through transitions, arts, gardening, crafts, puppet play, meal preparation, and seasonal festivals. Qualifications
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen is a plus
- Experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, kindness, and a genuine love for working with children
- Current CPR and First Aid certification( can be obtained while working)
- Ability to pass a background check
- The ability to build positive relationships with children
- A calm and overall happy demeanor
- Ability to stand and sit
- Joyfully work outside in all weather conditions
- Enthusiasm for Waldorf education
- Meet DELC requirements for the position

Responsibilities
- Arrive on time everyday
- Assist the lead teacher in managing classroom activities and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- When needed prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Maintain a safe and organized kitchen and classroom space, implementing first aid and CPR as necessary.
- Foster childhood development through interactive play and structured learning experiences.
- Working in the school garden, turning beds, planting starts, and watering plants.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.25 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
