Role Description

The SR Human Resource Generalist is a full-time, on-site role based in Carol Stream, IL, responsible for supporting and enhancing core HR functions across the organization. This role manages day-to-day HR activities, including administering HR policies, overseeing employee benefits, and supporting benefits-related inquiries. The SR Human Resource Generalist partners with leaders and team members on employee relations, performance management processes, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate HR records, supporting recruitment and onboarding, assisting with training and development initiatives, and contributing to HR projects that improve employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. The role requires strong judgment, confidentiality, and the ability to provide proactive, solutions-focused HR support.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess experience in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with a strong understanding of generalist responsibilities.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of HR Policies and compliance practices, including federal, state, and local employment regulations.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Employee Benefits and Benefits Administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee support.
• Candidates should possess strong interpersonal, communication skills in English and Spanish, and conflict-resolution skills to support employees and leaders effectively.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and data management for reporting and recordkeeping.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience; professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information, prioritize multiple tasks, and work collaboratively in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.

Benefits

• Competitive salary range: $77,000 - $85,000
