We are seeking an experienced Regional Director – Supply Chain to lead and enhance supply chain operations across a multi-facility healthcare region. This role operates under the guidance of the System Director of Operations and Logistics, with a strong collaborative connection to regional finance leadership.
The position is responsible for driving strategic initiatives, improving operational processes, and ensuring alignment with system-wide goals across all facilities within the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leadership to shape and execute the regional supply chain strategy.
- Lead and guide facility-level supply chain teams in implementing system-wide initiatives and best practices.
- Oversee operational efficiency by monitoring productivity, performance metrics, and workflow improvements across facilities.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including healthcare standards, vendor policies, and data protection protocols.
- Manage inventory processes, including tracking, adjustments, returns, transfers, and system accuracy within ERP platforms.
- Conduct regular on-site visits to maintain visibility, support teams, and ensure consistent execution of processes.
- Coordinate year-end inventory activities and collaborate with finance teams to validate reporting accuracy.
- Provide interim leadership support during absences of facility-level supply chain heads.
- Optimize inventory strategies, including fill rates, stock levels, and PAR management.
- Act as a key liaison between supply chain teams and facility stakeholders to resolve concerns effectively.
- Oversee contract implementation timelines and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Review operational and financial reports regularly, identifying trends and initiating corrective actions where required.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost optimization, quality enhancement, and customer satisfaction.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering career growth and strengthening organizational capability.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Extensive experience (typically 10–12 years) in supply chain management, ideally within a multi-facility healthcare environment.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, reimbursement models, and healthcare operations.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably across multiple platforms such as Infor.
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale initiatives from planning through execution.
- In-depth knowledge of medical supplies, equipment, and hospital supply chain operations.
