Director, HR Data & Analytics
Salary: $143,320 - $273,930 Bonus Exceptional Benefits

Hybrid Working: 4 days per week in the office
A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Director of HR Data & Analytics to lead a high-performing team responsible for transforming HR data into meaningful business insights.
This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an individual who combines deep expertise in data architecture, analytics and business intelligence with strong people leadership capabilities. You will oversee a team of approximately 10 professionals and act as a key bridge between HR, Technology and senior business stakeholders to drive data-led decision making across the organisation.
The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the HR data and analytics strategy, ensuring data solutions align with broader business objectives while delivering measurable value.
You will lead the design and development of scalable HR data solutions, oversee reporting and dashboard capabilities, and provide strategic guidance on data architecture, governance and business intelligence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and develop a team of HR data and analytics professionals
• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for HR data, reporting and analytics
• Partner with HR, Technology and business leaders to deliver impactful data solutions
• Drive the development of dashboards, visualisations and people insights that support business decision making
• Oversee data governance, compliance, risk management and quality standards
• Provide thought leadership on HR data architecture, modelling and information management
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve capability
• Manage stakeholder relationships and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership
About You
• Extensive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data architecture or related disciplines
• Previous leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams
• Strong expertise in data modelling, data warehousing and analytics solutions
• Experience working with platforms such as Tableau, Snowflake, SQL, Hadoop, Business Objects or similar technologies
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into meaningful business insights
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Proven experience delivering large-scale analytics or business intelligence programmes
Highly Desirable Experience
• HR analytics, workforce analytics or people data expertise
• Experience with HRIS platforms and HR technology ecosystems
• Strong understanding of data engineering principles and data pipelines
• Experience partnering closely with technology teams on enterprise data initiatives
• Expertise in data visualisation and storytelling techniques that drive action and influence decision making
