Hours are flexible this is a great opportunity for someone who needs a job that works around their schedule. Openings on days nights and weekends. Open to short or long shifts.
This is a very hands on job that requires someone who wants to stay busy. tumbling can be a messy job from time to time due to the water from the tumblers and the cleaning of parts.
Tumbling operators will be required to do other tasks as needed including media removal, assembly, hand deburring, cleaning, and operating of other equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate tumbling machines, including barrel finishing equipment, to remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections from metal parts.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine cleaning to minimize downtime.
- Handle materials safely using forklifts or other materials handling equipment as needed for part movement within the manufacturing floor.
- Assist with assembly line tasks when required, supporting overall production flow and efficiency.
- This position in 100% standing or walking.
Experience
- No experience required training provided.
- This is a fast paced active job.
- Running tumbling equipment involves a lot of heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Warehouse, shop, or assembly experience is a bonus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
