Operator

SOSi is actively seeking an Operator to join our team in El Paso, TX supporting a language services contract.

• Operates a web telephonic system.
• Responsible for providing timely and accurate customer assistance, answering incoming calls, transferring calls and connecting conference calls.
• Provides operator assistance connecting providers with patients and interpreters.
• Support continuous operations of medical and vocational providers calling to be connected with interpreters, Monday through Friday, 8 hours a day, including holidays.
• Monitor dashboard and identify when interpreters are needed; text interpreters using a distribution list when they are needed for calls.
• Transfer or conference calls to connect providers, patients, and interpreters.
• Collect accurate call data on web form for each call.
• Escalate any issues to Supervisor as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Associate level experience as a telephone operator handling telephone calls, search functions, customer support, conference calls, emergency calls and data entry.

• Spanish English bilingual is preferred but not required.

• Work in a fast-paced environment in office setting.
