SOSi is currently seeking an experienced Service Desk Technician to join our team in Fort Meade, MD.
Essential Job Duties
- Assists users via phone and field support in a wide range of computer issues.
- Installs, upgrades, and maintains desktop and portable computer hardware, software, printers, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical problems.
- Enters and updates tickets into the automated trouble ticketing system; tracks trends andrecommends corrective actions; and ensures compliance with applicable security and property accountability requirements.
- Interfaces with Network Operations team on integration issues and product research andinstallation testing.
- Provides minor network cabling installations and modifications as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Candidate must possess or be eligible for favorable T1 (NACI, national Agency Check) investigation.
- DoD 8570.01 IAT level I (A CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network CE, or SSCP) compliant or higher.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Public Trust clearance.

- Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable)
