Farsi Language-enabled OSINT Researcher

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Farsi Language-enabled OSINT Researcher to provide OSINT research in support of client contracts and objectives. The work requires consistency, attention to detail, flexibility, and a passion for evolution to keep pace with the ever-changing internet and social media trends.

• Conduct OSINT research and summarize research findings in sourced reports.
• Extract and merge information from disparate sources, establishing holistic meaning or relevance.
• Develop and apply expert-level understanding and skills for social media analysis and exploitation.
• Utilize language or technical skills on a near daily basis to enable research and analysis.
• Identify and document the dominant sources and social media platforms in the arena and AOR(s) of responsibility. Monitor prioritized sources, identify key events and entities for research and analysis, and identify potential new data sources.

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• This position supports a US Federal Government contract which requires US citizenship.
• Minimum of three years of experience supporting the IC.
• Minimum four years’ targeting or open-source exploitation experience.
• Advanced Farsi skills (reading, some listening).
• Able to summarize foreign language materials into English and contextualize findings in research summaries.
• Proven track-record in written and verbal communication, including briefings for client managers. 
• Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently with limited direction and oversight, while contributing to collaborative work product and team.
• Superior time-management skills, including ability to flex to support short-fuse taskings while maintaining progress on longer-term projects.
• Ability to learn sophisticated work processes and identify opportunities and requirements to improve those processes. Ability and willingness to document and share lessons learned with team.
• Willingness to flex to learn new subject matter and accounts to support client and team objectives.

• Ten plus years targeting or open-source exploitation experience.
• Experience analyzing social media platform content, including using API calls to collect data.
• Experience in python or other programming languages to support social media and OSINT analysis.

• Travel between local worksites will be required.
• Normal office working conditions with possible requirement to lift and/or move objects or packages of up to 25 lbs.
• Limited non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends may be needed.
