Access your money early, avoid extra fees, and stay on top of your budget—all while keeping life a little less stressful.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and cook food in quantity, following established menus, standardized recipes, and production recordsServe proper portions in compliance with government and nutritional guidelinesEnsure all food is handled and stored using proper sanitary proceduresMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, work areas, and storage areasSanitize surfaces, sweep and mop floors, and assist in dish room operationsDe-lime equipment weekly or as neededAssist with organizing food production and storagePlan ahead for daily food production and collaborate with the Site Supervisor on food and supply ordersAttend weekly food planning meetingsSet up lunch lines and ensure adequate food supply for all lunch shiftsRecord temperatures and complete required logs (in absence of Site Supervisor)Unlock kitchen and start required equipment (in absence of Site Supervisor)Assist with milk orders and daily reportingCollect and evaluate leftovers at the end of the dayMaintain positive, professional relationships with staff, students, parents, and the communityCommunicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writingWhat We’re Looking For:Experience in food preparation (school or institutional setting preferred)Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practicesStrong teamwork and communication skillsAbility to work independently when neededReliable and punctual with a strong work ethicBenefits:Company-paid clearancesWeekends and holidays offMeaningful work supporting students in your communityIf you take pride in preparing nutritious meals and want a consistent weekday schedule, we’d love to hear from you.Apply today and join a team that helps fuel student success every day.PandoLogic.
