Position Overview:
We are hiring an entry-level Warehouse Employee / Powder Coating Prep Technician to support our manufacturing operations. This role involves preparing metal parts, assisting with powder coating, and performing general warehouse and production tasks.
No experience is required – paid training will be provided.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Prepare and clean metal parts for production
- Hang parts on racks for the powder coating line
- Inspect parts for defects and surface quality
- Assist with the powder coating process to ensure consistent finish
- Perform quality control checks before and after coating
- Support material handling and production flow
- Help with color changes and powder loading
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse/production area
- Follow safety procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Assist with general warehouse and production duties as needed
Requirements & Skills:
- No experience required (training provided)
- Ability to work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work on a team and follow instructions
- Comfortable with hands-on work
Physical Demands:
- Lift, carry, push, and/or pull 1-50 lbs. frequently
- Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently
- Sit, stand, and walk for 1-10 hours per day
- Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, eye protection, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing
