Sales Marketing Manager

About the role

A growing North Texas managed services and technology consulting firm is hiring a Sales

& Marketing Manager to own the pipeline from first touch to signed agreement. This is a

hands-on leadership role for someone who can both build the marketing engine and close

business, not a consultant or a pure strategist.

You will report directly to the President, work from our Dallas–Fort Worth area office with

some flexibility to work remotely, and lead a team of two sales associates. One of your

first projects will be helping us hire a marketing associate to round out the team. Our

primary verticals are manufacturing and distribution companies across North America,

from 50 to 1,000 employees; we also serve accounting, engineering, law, and medical firms,

local and state government, and oil and gas. Clients rely on us for four service lines:

Managed IT; Managed Intelligence (AI agent implementation, AI governance, AI security

assessment, and AI training); Process Automation; and Professional Services (ERP and

CRM implementation and support). Company details will be shared with candidates who

What you'll do

Sales

• Build and manage a pipeline across North America, led by manufacturing and distribution and supported by professional services, government, and oil and gas prospects, through outbound prospecting, referrals, partner channels, trade shows, and inbound follow-up
• Run discovery calls and on-site meetings with owners, CFOs, COOs, and IT leaders; scope needs and present Managed IT, Managed Intelligence, Process Automation, and ERP/CRM professional services solutions
• Prepare proposals and statements of work with the delivery team, negotiate agreements, and close both recurring managed services revenue and project-based implementation work
• Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and activity reporting for the President
• Partner with the service desk and account management to grow existing client accounts and protect renewals
• Lead, coach, and set targets for two sales associates; run weekly pipeline reviews and hold the team accountable to activity and revenue goals

Marketing

• Own the marketing plan and budget: website, SEO, email campaigns, paid search, social media, and events; recruit, hire, and manage a marketing associate to execute it
• Produce content that speaks to decision makers in our verticals, including case studies, blog posts, one-pagers, and webinars
• Track lead sources and campaign results; report on cost per lead and pipeline contribution monthly
• Manage vendor and partner co-marketing programs (ERP and CRM publishers, Microsoft, cybersecurity vendors, and similar)
• Represent the company at industry associations, trade shows, and business groups in our target verticals, locally and across North America

What you bring

(Required)

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
• 3 years of B2B sales or marketing experience, with at least some of it selling or marketing technology services (managed IT, ERP or CRM, SaaS, or custom software)
• At least 3 consecutive years of documented sales success, meeting or exceeding quota each year, that you can speak to with numbers
• Comfort explaining IT, AI, ERP, CRM, and automation concepts to non-technical executives and operations leaders
• Hands-on experience with a CRM (HubSpot, ConnectWise, Salesforce, or similar) and marketing tools such as email platforms, Google Ads, and LinkedIn
• Strong writing and presentation skills
• Based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and able to travel to client sites and industry events across North America

Nice to have

• Experience at an MSP, ERP or CRM partner, or technology consulting firm
• Familiarity with ERP and CRM platforms common in manufacturing and distribution (Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Acumatica, Epicor, Salesforce, or similar) and with AI agents, AI governance, or AI security
• Existing network of contacts in manufacturing, distribution, professional services, government, or oil and gas, in North Texas or nationally
• Experience managing a small sales or marketing team, or an outside agency
