WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Sorcero is a remote and globally distributed team. We offer rewarding compensation that will include a base salary in the range of $110,000-$150,000 depending on experience and location.

THE ROLE:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Analyst to join our growing team. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Customer Requirements Gathering: Ability to drive a dialogue with customers in order to understand their requirements, provide updates, ask/respond to questions, etc.
- Data Transformation & Ingestion: Manipulate and transform diverse customer datasets into our standardized common data model, ensuring data quality and readiness for ingestion into our proprietary AI software platform.
- Analytic Dataset Creation: Design, develop, and maintain robust analytic datasets from various sources to support the creation of interactive dashboards and advanced analytics.
- Dashboard Development: Lead the design, development, and implementation of impactful dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau, translating complex data into clear, user-friendly visualizations.
- Analytics & Reporting: Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights, and generate comprehensive reports that address key business questions for Medical Affairs teams.
- Data Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain data quality checks and processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all data used for analysis and reporting.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, and customer success teams to understand data requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-value data solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
- 5 years of experience in data analysis, with a significant focus on data mapping, data transformation, and schema management.
- At least 3 years of experience with Life Sciences and Healthcare data.
- Proven experience in reviewing and understanding complex datasets from various sources.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and profiling.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language for data analysis and automation (e.g., Python with libraries like Pandas).
- Solid understanding of different data structures, formats (e.g., JSON, CSV, XML), and database schemas (relational, non-relational).
- Experience with ETL/ELT concepts and processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to translate business requirements and AI data needs into technical data mapping specifications.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience working with customer data platforms (CDPs) or CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Understanding of data preparation requirements for AI/Machine Learning models.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with statistical analysis (descriptive and inferential statistics).
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
- Experience working in a startup environment.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
