As a Manufacturing Engineer at Sorcerer you'll be responsible for developing manufacturing tooling and processes for both our vehicle and avionics hardware. We are rapidly scaling our sensing network to hundreds of active flight systems making this an incredibly important role with runway for huge and immediate impact.

About The Role
As a Manufacturing Engineer at Sorcerer you'll be responsible for developing manufacturing tooling and processes for both our vehicle and avionics hardware. We are rapidly scaling our sensing network to hundreds of active flight systems making this an incredibly important role with runway for huge and immediate impact.
Responsibilities
- Develop avionics manufacturing and test fixtures
- Work within engineering team to refine designs for manufacturability
- Develop assembly procedures and test plans
- Assemble and test production flight hardware when needed
- Ability to troubleshoot electronic systems
- Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Open HFT, Pytest)
- Highly proficient in soldering and assembly
- Have experience managing supply chains and PCBA contract manufacturing
- Have experience working with plastic films
- Have experience working in startups and small independent teams
- Succeed with a high level of autonomy
- This is an in-office role at our HQ in SoMa, San Francisco
