Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment using appropriate methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking.
- Support the kitchen staff by bussing tables and clearing away used dishes during peak service times.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods.
- Participate in regular cleaning tasks to maintain overall kitchen hygiene.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations in a restaurant, hotel, or catering setting is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
