Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Therapist role based in Jacksonville, FL, focusing on Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services for Substance Use Disorder (SUD). The therapist will provide individual and group therapy, conduct clinical assessments, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation. Duties also include providing psychoeducation, engaging in discharge planning, and supporting clients in achieving their recovery goals.
Qualifications
- Experience in conducting individual therapy, group therapy, and psychoeducation sessions
- Strong skills in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation
- Knowledge of substance use disorders, dual diagnoses, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong organizational abilities
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field required
- Active licensure (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) in the state of Florida preferred
- Experience in PHP/IOP settings or similar behavioral health programs is a plus
- A collaborative approach to working with a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to supporting clients in a compassionate and professional manner
