SUMMARY
Provide assistance to Test Engineer and support production in test and repair.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Sets up test equipment and conducts tests.
- Troubleshoot non-conforming PCBAs, as necessary.
- Aids test technicians as required.
Assist Test Engineer in the following:
- Design, build, modify and maintain test fixtures and procedures.
- Ensure correct testing procedures are used and ensure testing of product is completed in an efficient manner.
- Develop and maintain test instructions.
- Suggest changes to and replacement of equipment that fails to meet operating standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred. Or associate degree with minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Demonstrate intermediate level proficiency in MS Office and job-related software.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, customers, and potential customers.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
