What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipper position at Soothing Touch?
Hiring staff to work in shipping department in the Santa Fe warehouse.
Shifts Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM. Candidates must be able to arrive to work on time, follow detailed directions, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and ideally have some experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Some of the job duties are as follows:
- order selecting,
- order scanning,
- accuracy verification,
- proper packing
- setting up freight shipments on the computer.
Qualifications:
- 3 years experience (preferred)
- Coordinating staff.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize work according to numerous factors.
- Must be able to lift 40 – 50 lbs. consistently.
- Able to stand for extended periods of hours.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Data entry.
- Forklift certified (preferred).
Will be trained to drive forklift and reach truck. Starting pay is $24.00. Please provide your availability and submit a resume we can set up a time for you to come in, fill out an application, and meet with us in person.
