What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Staff position at Soos Creek Kennels?

We are a small, family owned, dog and cat boarding kennel that has been servicing the King County area for the past 40 years. Job Duties :
-Represent the kennel and interact with customers in a friendly and proffesional manner.
-Familiarize self with online booking system so you may check-in/out guests, make reservations, verify vaccines and more.
-Answer the phone, take and return messages and reach out to vetrinarians as needed.
-Walk pets too and from kennels, daycare and grooming room as needed.
-Help kennel assistants with dishes, activities, feedings, laundry and general upkeep as needed.
Skills / Qualifications:
-Must be 21
-Must love animals.
-Someone with strong attention to detail.
-Ability to multitask with good time management skills.
-Experience preferred but not required.
-Can work unsupervised.
-Ability to be on feet for multiple hours at a time if needed. Must be comfortable crouching and bending frequently with an ability to lift 50 lbs.
-Must be willing to work holidays as that is when we are at our busiest.
Compensation :
-$19-$22 per hour based on experience.
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
