High Speed Stamping Press Operator

We manufacture/supply top cap parts of lithium-ion battery cells to Panasonic Energy. Stamping Press Operator (High-Speed) | (3 Years Experience) | Soode Kansas Corporation | De Soto, Kansas 

If you can set up, run, troubleshoot, and keep high-speed presses performing at a consistently high level, we’d like to talk—join a fast-growing industry supporting EV/battery manufacturing.

What you’ll do:

• Set up & run high-speed press equipment
• Work with progressive dies & coil systems
• Troubleshoot and maintain quality production

What you need:

• 3 years high-speed metal stamping experience
• Automotive or precision manufacturing background
• Strong mechanical skills

Job Qualifications

• Experience: 3 years of hands-on experience in high-speed metal stamping within a precision or automotive manufacturing environment 
• Technical Expertise: Advanced experience with high-speed presses, progressive dies, and coil feed systems Strong understanding of die protection systems, press tonnage, and feed line optimization 
• Blueprint & GD&T: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tolerances, and geometric dimensioning (GD&T preferred) 
• Mathematical Proficiency: Comfortable working in both metric and imperial units and strong working knowledge of fractions, decimals, and precision measurement calculations 
• Continuous Improvement Mindset: Exposure to lean manufacturing principles such as 5S, Kaizen, and standardized work
