What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dance Teacher position at Soo Dance Company and Academy?
Soo Dance Company and Academy is a Premier Dance Studio that is currently looking for dance teachers for 2026–2027 starting in the summer and continuing through the spring. We have two locations: Danville and San Ramon. We are a well-established and professional dance studio with a strong track record of success looking for instructors to join our TEAM.
This position involves teaching techniques as well as choreographing for Competitions (as a PLUS) and also annual showcases December and May. A thorough knowledge of a wide range of dance styles would be a plus, but it is not required.

We value teachers who can teach in a variety of styles and who enjoy working with students of all ages, from tiny tots to our most advanced competitive dancers. Multi-discipline artists are very welcome!

Qualifications
- All applicants must have at least 3 years of prior teaching experience.
- A high school diploma is required; a dance degree is currently being pursued in college.
- Must be knowledgeable in the proper dance techniques.
- Must committed to Fall-Summer contracted yearly
- Must be able to manage a classroom of students ranging in age from 2 to 18 years.
- Punctuality and communication clearly
- well-organized and committed
