POSITION SUMMARY
Sony Corporation of America (SCA)is seeking afull-timeAI Adoption internfor Sony's Global Security Incident Response Team (GSIRT).Your role will be on the Strategy team, but you will be a collaborator across all GSIRT's global teams.
TheCISDsummer internship program is designed to provide skills, knowledge, and hands-on work experience in the information security and privacy industry, supporting the personal growth of our interns as well as Sony business results.
This 12week summer internship runs from June through August and offers flexibility to work either hybrid or fully remote.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Update internal-facing team sites and migrate content from legacy sites
Support the adoption of AI, including tools, training, and change management - across the GSIRT team.
Collaborate across GSIRT's functions from incident response, intelligence, to security architecture to program managers in support of the design and implementation of AI solutions to advance Sony's information security.
Honesty, trustworthiness, and ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined above.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current student pursuing abachelor's or master'sdegree in computer science, engineering, data science, applied mathematics, or equivalent.
Experience or coursework in generative Artificial Intelligence.
All candidates mustbe authorized towork in the USA.
Preferred qualifications:
Problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to collaborate constructively with a global workforce
Academic or professional experienceidentifyingskills,identifyingtraining and skills required for information security functions to developexpertisein AI.
Familiarity with O365, Jira, and Splunk.
The hourly rate for this internship depends on education level: $24.00 per hour for undergraduate candidates and $25.00-$27.00 per hour for graduate candidates. The individual will be paid hourly and eligible for overtime.
