Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain driver qualification (DQ) files
- Monitor ELD violations and vehicle inspection reports
- Coordinate compliance with local, State and Federal laws including communication, training and follow up with drivers with standard safety changes
- Investigate accidents, incidents and work-related injuries to help determine fault/probability
- Monitor Samsara for driver alerts and coach drivers on their behavior if necessary
- Seek out industry best practices and more effective and efficient methods to achieve operational excellence in incident prevention and DOT compliance
- Monitor CSA scores, violation investigation and DataQ’s when necessary
Job Requirements:
Position Qualifications:
- Knowledge of FMCSA and state DOT regulations
- Experience in a safety position within a transportation or logistics company
- Ability to work independently, self-motivated
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Class A CDL License preferred
- Must be able to work in an office setting
