Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) – Correctional Facility | Blythe, CA & Nearby Locations Full-Time
Schedule: Full-Time (Monday- Friday)
Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during dental examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Prepare, clean, and sterilize dental instruments and treatment areas.
- Take, process, and develop dental X-rays as required.
- Maintain and update accurate patient dental records and charts.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Follow all infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols.
- Support dental team operations and perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of sixteen (16) continuous months of experience within the last twenty-four (24) months in a public or private healthcare facility.
- Internship experience does not count toward the required experience.
License/Certification:
- Must hold a valid and current California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
Communication Skills:
- Must be fluent in spoken and written English to ensure clear and accurate communication during patient care.
Compliance:
- Must comply with the California Dental Practice Act (Sections 1740–1777).
Background Check:
- Candidates must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening prior to employment.
