Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) – Correctional Facility | Imperial, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:45am-3:45pm
Pay Rate: $32/hr
Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Registered Dental Assistants (RDA) to provide services at a Correctional Facility . This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering quality dental care to inmate patients in a secure healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop X-rays as required
- Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols
- Perform other dental-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 12 continuous months of experience in the last 24 months in a public or private healthcare facility (internships do NOT count).
- License/Certification: Valid California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
- BLS Certification from AHA
- Communication Skills: Must be fluent in English (spoken and written) to ensure accurate communication in patient care.
