Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children, families, and individuals with disabilities, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The Clinical Psychologist will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing psychotherapy to help patients achieve their mental health goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients of all ages.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide individual and group therapy utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and crisis intervention techniques.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Engage in research activities related to behavioral health and contribute to the advancement of clinical practices.
- Supervise and mentor interns or junior staff members as needed.
- Provide telehealth services to accommodate patients' needs.
- Participate in intake processes, psychological testing, and ongoing patient assessments.
- Offer specialized care for populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, individuals with PTSD, autism spectrum disorders, and those struggling with addiction.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
- Licensure as a Clinical Psychologist in the state of practice.
- Experience in child & family counseling, crisis intervention, and clinical counseling is preferred.
- Familiarity with various therapeutic approaches including psychotherapy, group therapy, and addiction counseling.
- Previous experience working in hospital settings or schools is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and mental health counseling techniques.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients quickly.
