Sonshine Manor, located in Republic, Missouri is currently seeking Level 1 Medication Aide(LIMA) to join our team.
***NIGHT SHIFT****
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparing medications for patients
- Administering various types of medication throughout the day
- Recording every dose of medication administered
- Observing patients to look for changes
- Notifying nurses about changes or medical issues with patients
- Following all safety protocols
- Assist Residents with daily living activities, to include, delivering meals, and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment meals throughout scheduled shift
- Help Residents with personal hygiene
- Assist Residents with feeding and serving nutritional supplements
- Making the Resident's beds and keeping their living areas clean and tidy
- Assist other staff in other departments as needed
- Adhere to professional standards and follow all facility policies and procedures
- Abide by all federal, state and local requirements and standards
- Maintain the confidentiality of all Residents and Facility data
Skills and Qualifications:
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of medical terminology and conditions
- Ability to prepare medication doses accurately
- Patient, calm demeanor
- Strong problem-solving skills
