Job Brief
The main goal of an Operations Manager is encompassed in two parts; take care of your employees and take care of your accounts. It is essential for the manager to be quick on their feet and react promptly to address needs. It is equally important for the manager to be proactive to not only foresee problems but to dispel them before they happen. Effective communication is a key to success from all angles. The expectation of this position is to maintain Sonshines standard of quality and increase efficiency at every opportunity.
Employee Responsibilities
- Train new employees
- Visit employees on regular basis creating culture of team
A Accounts- weekly
- Visit buildings for inspection and to develop team
- Perform team meetings weekly
- Perform building inspections weekly
B Accounts- monthly
- Employee meet up (monthly minimum)
- Building inspection (monthly minimum)
Account Responsibilities
- Take care of immediate problems or communicate them to necessary party (in writing)
- Evaluate and make necessary adjustments to account processes and personnel to achieve maximum efficiency and quality
- Clean when absolutely necessary
Clerical Work
- Keep building log of issues and follow ups
- Submit tentative schedule for approval weekly
- Complete and turn in expense report monthly
- Communicate call offs, vacation requests and vacancies to operations manager and HR in writing
- Attend and actively participate in Weekly Pulse meetings with subordinates and superiors.
Time Allocation
The effective time range for completing these functions will generally be during the hours between 2:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Exceptions to this schedule are expected but not frequent.

Offered compensation: $47,000/yr - $54,000/yr
