Position Overview
Sons of Liberty Gun Works is seeking a disciplined, detail-oriented Production & Quality Control Specialist to support our growing manufacturing operation. This role is designed for a high-caliber individual who takes pride in precision work, accountability, and contributing to a team that refuses to compromise on quality.
You will play a critical role in ensuring every product meets SOLGW standards while supporting production throughput across multiple functional areas.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Control
- Inspect finished goods and OEM-supplied components to ensure compliance with SOLGW and industry standards
- Identify, document, and report defects; prevent non-conforming parts from reaching production or customers
- Support assembly of bulk parts and monitor production consistency
- Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure proper use of QC equipment
- Work directly with production leadership to improve workflow and throughput
Production Support & Small Parts Fulfillment
- Accurately pack dealer and customer orders based on sales orders and allocation reports
- Verify configurations to ensure complete and correct fulfillment
- Coordinate with shipping to ensure timely outbound delivery
Laser Operations
- Perform laser engraving on components to SOLGW specifications
- Execute MK1 rail stippling and other laser work with precision
- Operate laser equipment and supporting software while minimizing waste
- Maintain consistency and quality across all engraved products
Additional Duties
- Support other operational areas based on individual strengths
- Contribute to continuous improvement and company growth initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in manufacturing, production, or quality control preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools preferred
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to operate independently and within a team environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift 60 lbs
- Ability to perform detailed visual inspections
