Dental Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Dental Assistant to join our new private and family-owned dental office. The ideal candidate will play an essential role in delivering high-quality dental care and providing an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist chairside during various dental procedures.

- Record patient dental and medical histories and maintain digital records.

- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to aseptic techniques.

- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. (Must be X-ray certified in the state of Arizona.)

- Perform coronal polishing. (Must be coronal polishing certified.)

- Maintain patient flow by keeping treatment rooms organized and stocked.

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide post-treatment care instructions.

- Conduct routine maintenance on dental equipment.

- Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries.

- Ensure the office remains clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations.

- Uphold a positive, warm, and professional demeanor.

- Communicate effectively with patients and team members.

- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.

- Adhere to attendance and office policies.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Service-oriented with the ability to project a professional image.

Compensation:
- Pay range is open for discussion based on experience and qualifications.
