What are the responsibilities and job description for the general maintenance position at Sonora Bank?
- Maintain all grounds and entrance areas prior to opening for normal banking hours.
- Open and close bank facilities at normal banking hours.
- Post and deliver daily mail to Post Office.
- General housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning restrooms on a daily basis. Cleaning all windows on a weekly basis.
- Order cleaning /industrial supplies.
- Maintain all lighting fixtures.
- Maintain parking lot, driveways, and sidewalks as needed, i.e., sweeping or raking leaves, removal of ice, etc. as determined by weather and season.
- Remove leaves and branches on roof areas as needed.
- Set up and clean popcorn machine on a weekly basis.
- Maintain exterior surface drive-in kiosks.
- Work with plumbers, carpenters, etc. to assure that any repairs are done properly and in a timely fashion.
- Run miscellaneous errands as needed.
- A high school degree or equivalent is required.
- Working knowledge of machinery needed for upkeep of bank both inside and outside.
- Ability to interact with employees, salespersons, and contractors.
Position requires heavy lifting, climbing and operating machinery. Must have own yard maintenance equipment.
