Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and musculoskeletal studies
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal image quality
- Analyze sonographic findings and prepare detailed reports for physician review
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient safety
- Maintain patient records and document procedures in accordance with facility protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain strict patient confidentiality
- Follow infection control and safety standards in all imaging procedures
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- ARDMS certification (RVT, RDMS, or equivalent) required or eligible
- Previous clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound preferred
- Proficiency in multiple sonography modalities (abdominal, vascular, OB/GYN, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
