While reporting to the Team Leader as the General Laborer, you will be responsible for collaborating and contributing to the production environment within our manufacturing operations. Safety, quality, productivity, and strong work ethic are important to the Sonoco culture. You will perform tasks that are necessary to provide high quality, efficient, timely shipment of Sonoco products.

You will perform tasks that are necessary to provide high quality, efficient, timely shipment of Sonoco products.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Package any rolls coming off the winder
- Clean the machine room floor from fire door to fire door
- Pull broke from belt during a paper break
- Assist in the tailing of the machine after a paper break
- Empty dumpsters in the machine room
- Assist 6th hand when needed
- Any shutdown tasks required
- Conduct forklift checklist
- Bust all rolls and ribbons produced
- Any other tasks the Team Leader requests
- you have labor intensive work experience
- you have an excellent attendance and safety work history
- are able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- are able to work in extreme hot and cold climates
- are willing to train and move up the line of progression
