Responsibilities
Perform inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products according to mechanical drawings and work instructions.
- Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections with appropriate sampling methods (AQL).
- Quarantine nonconforming materials in both physical and ERP systems and coordinate returns or reorders with purchasing.
- Audit quality control records and ensure compliance with procedures and SOPs.
- Ensure proper identification and tracking of materials and work orders in ERP systems.
- Provide training and mentoring to team members on inspection methods, quality standards, and good documentation practices.
- Support team members in resolving quality concerns and ensure consistent application of quality practices.
- Coach team members on safe work habits and quality expectations.
- Maintain inspection documentation and ensure that equipment is properly calibrated and functioning.
- Model and promote safe work practices and maintain a safe work environment.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures, identifying and addressing unsafe behaviors and conditions.
- Assemble and coordinate cross-functional teams for deep dive investigation and root cause problem solving.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Formal Training:
- High School Diploma / GED Required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Certifications (CSCP, CPIM, Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Certification).
- 5 years’ experience in quality control field.
- 4 years’ supervisory experience.
- Prior QC experience required.
- Prior forklift experience preferred.
- Prior machining / CNC experience preferred.
- Experience using SAP or other ERP System preferred.
- Office Equipment, Database & Query Software, ERP Software, Procurement Software - SAP system.
- Forklifts / Pallet Jack / Reach Truck Experience Desired.

- Plug, Ring, Thread, Pin, Snap, and Height Gauges – Manual and Digital
