Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated part-time Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting parts to various locations while ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various types of vehicles.
Duties
- Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle for deliveries
- Load and unload products at designated locations
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading tasks
- Assist in warehouse operations when necessary, including inventory management
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a courier role is preferred
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices
- Warehouse experience is a plus, especially with heavy lifting and moving tasks
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is advantageous
- Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is beneficial
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction
