We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Central Station Operator/Alarm Monitoring Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role as a Central station operator, you will provide the most professional alarm monitoring services, through live audio, monitor CCTV feeds, verify access control and fire signals, and dispatch emergency responders through agency-to-agency communications.
Your excellent communication skills, and technical proficiency will be essential in providing prompt responses to customer service inquiries, and maintaining seamless internal communication.
Responsibilities (Include but May Not Be Limited to)
- Monitor security systems, including alarm panels, CCTV monitoring, and access control systems, to detect suspicious activity or system malfunctions.
- Respond swiftly to alarm activations by assessing situations and taking appropriate actions.
- Dispatching emergency personnel through agency-to-agency communications in a clear and concise manner.
- Provide customer service and communicate clearly with clients, and internal teams via phones, radios and emails, to coordinate effective responses.
- Logging and reporting all customer activity, incidents and service requests via the computer system accurately.
- Operate CCTV systems with technical proficiency, ensuring high-quality visual monitoring at all times.
- Maintain internal communication channels effectively to ensure team coordination during shifts.
- Maintain office in a clean and professional setting.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
Requirement Overview: (included but May Not be Limited to)
- No previous experience is required; we will train qualified individuals.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Fluent English, Bi-lingual Spanish a plus.
- Experience with call center operations and /or phone switchboard communication is a plus.
- Strong administrative and customer service experience preferred.
- Technical proficiency in computers and typing of 45wpm Net (after errors)
- Ability to handle conflict management situations calmly and professionally in high-pressure environments.
- Must be able to pass all background checks and obtain Sheriff’s license.

Pay: $19.00 - $19.50 per hour
