About the Role
As the Sales Director, you will serve as the primary driver of community occupancy growth. You will build relationships with prospective residents, families, referral partners, and professional networks while guiding prospects through the decision-making process and helping them find the best solution for their needs.
This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives in a relationship-focused environment and is passionate about helping older adults transition into a vibrant senior living community.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive occupancy growth and achieve community sales and move-in goals
- Manage and nurture leads through the sales process from inquiry to move-in
- Conduct community tours and provide personalized consultations
- Build relationships with prospective residents, families, referral sources, and local community partners
- Develop and execute strategic marketing and outreach plans
- Maintain knowledge of community services, pricing, and competitive market trends
- Address questions and overcome objections by demonstrating the value of community living
- Collaborate with community leadership to ensure a seamless move-in experience
- Maintain accurate lead management and sales activity documentation
- Support the Executive Director in achieving occupancy, revenue, and census goals
Qualifications
Required
- 3 years of proven sales experience with a history of meeting or exceeding goals
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local networking and outreach activities
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree or college coursework
- Senior living, healthcare, hospitality, real estate, or consultative sales experience
- Experience using CRM systems and tracking sales performance metrics
