Job Responsibilities & Qualifications
Program Leadership
- Lead the Magnolia Trails memory care program, including programming, structure, and daily operations
- Develop and maintain individualized care plans for residents living with Alzheimer's and other dementias
- Create a calendar of structured, purposeful activities designed for memory care residents
Team Development
- Recruit, train, and develop caregiving staff in dementia-specific care practices
- Foster a culture of patience, dignity, and person-centered care within the team
Family & Resident Relationships
- Build trust-based relationships with residents and families throughout their memory care journey
- Provide ongoing education and support to families navigating dementia care
- Address concerns proactively and ensure timely resolution
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure compliance with state memory care regulations and company standards
- Partner with the Wellness Director and healthcare providers on resident care coordination
Qualifications
Required
- 2-3 years of memory care or dementia care leadership experience
- Strong understanding of dementia-specific care practices and programming
- Excellent communication, leadership, and family relations skills
- State-required certifications where applicable
Preferred
- Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) or equivalent certification
- Experience with structured memory care programming models
